Eat, Pray, Jay Cutler

2L time…

I’m not sure what I am more excited about: being done with my first year of law school OR developing dynamic bettings odds as to which 2L becomes “that guy” who tries to get laid by every remotely attractive incoming 1L…

Those of you who know me probably know that I am quite the culinary mind… if I do say so myself.  Here is a simple recipe I made today on the fly from things anyone should have around the house or that are easily obtainable from any grocery store. Without further adieu, a simple recipe for a Rustic Chicken and cherry tomato reduction pastaStep 1
sauté one piece boneless skinless chicken breast in EVOO (Canola oil fails at high temperatures)
season chicken with black pepper. salt, turmeric, and a fraction of cayenne pepper
Step 2
take chicken out of pan
add chicken stock to pan to deglaze chicken drippings (wooden spoon drippings into chicken stock)
add healthy amount cherry tomatoes and diced red onion
sprinkle on red cayenne pepper to veggies
once cherry tomatoes begin to pop naturally and with spatula (as intended), add 3 cloves finely minced garlic
add 1 oz balsamic vinegar
mix everything in pan and let cook on low heat covered to reduce
Step 3
Start pasta water
once water — heavily salted — comes to boil, put in pasta AND put chicken back into the reduction to marinade, chopped
drain pasta, toss in sauce, garnish with fresh parmigiano-reggiano and fresh parsley

The best pound for pound boxer alive.  Will Pac-Man step up and agree to testing like Sugar Shane Mosley did?

Bear Down Todd Pletcher

Congrats to UA Alumn Todd Pletcher for winning his first Kentucky Derby.  UofA had 4 de facto horses running in the derby — 3 from Pletcher and 1 from Bob Baffert.

I’m all about tangentially rooting on my alma mater.

Try G-G the book.

Sad face; the existential struggles of one Jon Arbuckle in a world void of Garfield’s existence is rather apropos sometimes.

Em Dizzle has inspired me to start blogging.  Emily’s rap name would clearly be Em Dizzle.  Fo Shizzle?  I think I will start a weekly tradition where I post an emo song about someone named Emily, but I think my options are limited to From First to Last when Sonny Moore was still a member… sigh.  If only time remained static in 2004.
